Dan Petriw: Calfornia Dreaming - Dan Petriw
You better not hope they win tonight bcs he will run these facking ridiculous lines into the ground do or die if they do. Strome, lee, and nelson will pay the price for them winning. If they win tonight it'd be more of a negative and send the wrong message to the chimps behind the bench due to them not being intelligent wnough to dissect whats right in fron of their face. The only player who was playing even half way decent(and hes been nothing special imo) on the fourth line is a healthy scratch |

Not sure how this lineup is going to outscore the Ducks 5 on 5. The real question is how has the coaching staff improved the PP and the PK? |

Well the PP and PK is not the problem scoring is according to capuano. He hasnt got the memo yet that defense wins games. |

Why were Nelson and Nielsen swapped? Nelson should be playing with Grabo. Neilsen on the third line is best. That move looks like change for the sake of change. No strategy behind it at all. Then again, I shouldn't be surprised by that, given this coaching staff.
Like everyone else, I'm at a loss as to how Cappy sets these lines up. We'll never get it, but I'd love to get the scoop on the rationale behind scratching Cizikas to skate Boulton, to swap Nelson and Nielsen and to drop Strome to the 4th line. Change for the sake of change? |

I wonder what goes on in discussions between the players when the check the nightly roster and assignments? They must look at each other with dumbfounded stares when they see the dry-erase board showing who's playing with who and the special teams combos. |

Its almost as important to lose as it was when we drafted tavares. Winning is not an option. |

Strome - Tavares - Okposo
Grabovski - Nelson - Lee
Kulemin - Nielsen - Conacher
Martin - Cizikas - Clutterbuck
That should be our 4 lines. When Bailey/Grabner come back, they should slot Bailey/Grabner into Conacher's 3rd line spot.
Conacher and Martin swap out 4th line duty depending on who we are playing.
Strome is the play maker that top line needs. Or Nelson for better defensive awareness if we want to go that route... |

I know right? Listen guys, these lines are a personal message to us from cappy, that he won't be bullied into making smart choices.
I don't know about you guys, but I'm gonna go shuffle these deck chairs around for a bit. |

I don't think Cappy was too thrilled with the PK. Only had 2 d-men behind the goal line. EVERYBODY needs to get to the goal line. PP was fine, playing their triangle to the side of the goalie & no movement. All systems go as far as that's concerned. Can we fire him if they lose tonight & tomorrow, PLEASE. Going to the game Saturday & really don't want to see him behind the bench. |

It's autumn in New York, the leaves are falling just like the Isles in the standings.
Bring a knife to a gunfight?
How about bring Jack Capuano to a hockey debate?
But honestly Noodles did you check how these guys match to the Ducks lines?
It's probably worse than we think!
It's all in the puck management, provided you can get the puck.

Here's to another night of players not executing, not raising their battle level, attacking their own goalie, and hopefully another loss and one step closer to not having to listen to another Jack Capuano post game interview!
Tonight if they lose it'll be. "Thats one good team over there (missing their starting goalie). I thought we played really good tonight (if they lose 7-0)." |

It's just so frustrating. We have the pieces to be a really good team, a great team, but this idiot coach is holding them back. |
